Ava is an almost 4 year (DOB 4/15/09) old owner surrender. She was surrendered because she nipped an autistic 4 year old who cornered her and scared her. She is very mellow normally and is not a bitey dog. She would do best with children over the age of 8. Ava is a former puppymill dog and she still acts like it once in awhile. She does okay with other dogs, but she does not seek their company nor will she play with them so we think she would be best as an only dog. She really just likes to be with her human and follows her foster mom EVERYWHERE. She is a velcro dog. She does like to play with toys on her own. Ava is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. She is also heartworm negative. She still needs a little work on her potty training as she will have accidents once in awhile, but she is doing well.
