Boston Terrier - Hope - Small - Adult - Female - Dog
Hope was brought to our attention on Facebook. Someone posted that she needed emergency vet care because she was bleeding from her "lady parts". She had delivered puppies 7 weeks prior so they knew she was not in heat. The people who turned her over to rescue were not the original owners and had just gotten her because her breeders were giving her away. Anyway, Hope was taken to the vet the day we were made aware of her and she was taken into surgery immediately. She had Pyometra (an severe infection of her uterus) and time was an issue. That Facebook page probably saved her life. Hope is 6 years old and is the sweetest dog EVER! She is housetrained and gets along with other dogs, cats and kids. She is a little shy at first, but comes out of her shell quickly. She just wants a home of her own.
