Lucy the Pointer Young Female in Omaha, Nebraska

My story
Lucy is a beautiful 10 1/2 mth old young girl weighing around 45 lbs. She is so very sweet and loving, she is at the right age to be molded into a great family dog. She and her brother, Ricky, are very friendly and happy pups. With fair and consistent training, she will learn very fast.  Lucy has a black heart on her left side which makes her very unique. Come on down and meet this sweet pup!

The adoption fee is $450 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.

 Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission.  If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.  It may save you a trip to bring them with you when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member.

*****We are currently operating by appointment only due to a shortage of personnel.   If you want to meet this pet, please go to and click Adopt.  Then scroll down to Online Application and select Dog Application.   Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home.   The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the dog counselors or the foster.   If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit. If you have a dog or dogs currently, a meet and greet with the dog is also required but can be done at the same time.
